I blame this all on Gary Larson.
With childhood career goals of being a newspaper cartoonist and a parody song writer (yeah, I listened to a lot of Weird Al, okay?), creativity with a mild touch of absurdity has been running through my blood for as long as I can remember. Comic strips like The Far Side and Calvin & Hobbes made me realize there’s a world where art, silliness, and heart collide together in a magical way.
As I grew up and realized these dual professions MAY not be a realistic goal, I pivoted to the idea of making waves in the marketing world: a place where creativity and inventiveness meet strategy and data. A place where strange, hybrid brains like mine – both analytical and imaginative – can thrive and develop things that make people laugh, cry and even be amazed.
Having nearly 20 years of professional marketing experience under my belt – the bulk of those with an emphasis on digital marketing – my breadth and wealth of knowledge is broad and ever-expanding.
But on top of all of that I-feel-like-I’m-writing-a-cover-letter mumbo jumbo, I’m also a diehard Kansas Citian. I live and breathe local businesses, and nothing makes me happier than seeing people in our community succeed. Even better if I can lend a hand in making it happen.

Quality photography is one of the most worthwhile investments a small business can make, particularly in the food and beverage business. That old adage of ‘People eat (and these days, drink) with their eyes first’ still rings true to this day. Listen, I get it. It’s super easy to plug prompts into an AI assistant and have it barf out words for you. But sometimes, those words aren’t great. Or accurate. That’s a problem. A real person can help your copy feel more…well, you know, human. And that’s a good thing.
